Privacy policy
Short version: we use your details to answer your quote request and book your detail. We don't sell them, and we don't send you marketing unless you ask.
Who we are
JRS Detailing is a family-run vehicle detailing business in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, owned by Junior Juan Singson. We follow British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). Junior is responsible for how we handle personal information.
What we collect
When you send a quote request through this website, we collect what you type into the form:
- Your name and phone number
- Your email address, if you give one
- Your vehicle type, year, make and model
- The services you picked, your answers to the quote questions and any notes
- A preferred date, if you give one
We don't ask for payment details on this website, and we don't use analytics or advertising trackers.
Why we collect it
- To reply to your request with a price and a time
- To book and do the work on your vehicle
- To follow up about that job, for example if you have a question afterwards
By sending the form, you agree that we can contact you by phone, text or email about your request. We won't use your details for anything else without asking you first.
Who else handles it
We use a few trusted services to run this website. They only get what they need to do their job:
- Cloudflare hosts this website and runs Turnstile, a spam check on our forms. Turnstile looks at technical signals from your browser, like your IP address, to tell people from bots. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Static Forms delivers your form to our email inbox. See Static Forms' privacy policy.
- Google Fonts serves the fonts on this website, which means your browser connects to Google to load them.
Some of these services may store or process data outside Canada, including in the United States. We never sell, rent or trade your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep your request as long as we need it to serve you, and for our business and tax records when you become a customer. If a request doesn't turn into a job, we delete it within 12 months.
How we protect it
Your form is sent over an encrypted connection. Requests land in a password-protected inbox that only we can open.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. Just call or text 778-691-8454.
If you're not happy with how we handled your information, please tell us first so we can fix it. You can also contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
